Last year I ran the Warrior Dash, a 5KM obstacle course mud run in Florida for St Jude's Hospital. I wanted to take on an even bigger challenge this year

In August, I cycled 406km (6km OVER the target) in 6 days - one day less than anticipated,  Across Southern Vietnam, crossing the Mekong Delta. This ride really pushed my limits to the extreme, cycling in monsons, crazy traffic, and paths that are completely off the beaten track, with some paths/roads not even being finished at all and having to double back some days! I was even thrown off my bike as a moped hit my back tyre launching my over the handle bars - surely that's worth a donation!?

I have just over £25 left so PLEASE PLEASE dig deep. 

Having never ridden further than 13 miles before starting training for this challenge, it was a huge step for me.

This is all in aid of an amazing charity The Children's Society, who are UK based! They work directly with children, many whom have nowhere else to turn, to ensure that they and all children are loved, valued and listened to. With them they help to fight childhood poverty, harm and neglect.

They transform the lives of children by influencing government and local authorities to implement policy and practice to protect them, and they challenge society about negative attitudes that perpetuate harm and injustice to children

The cycle ride takes place this month of August so do dig deep and get donating guys to help me reach my target.

Did you know children  as young as 5 can be carers for their parents?

The Children's Society helps children in this situation, and helps them to stay children, and enjoy their childhood.
