I work for an amazing Bolton based charity, Backup NW who provide accommodation and support for homeless young people and i see on a daily basis the ways in which the young people benefit from their involvement with Backup.

Anyone who has spoken to us in the last 2-3 months will no doubt be aware that we have adopted a rescue dog from Macedonia. She is a big, bonkers 11 month old 'Macedonian tripe hound' (not an actual breed!!) who needs masses of exercise daily. The up side of this being lots of walks for her humans!! 

Like 99% of the population, my New Years resolution will be (as it has been for the last 25 years) to get fit and lose weight. I'm not a gym fan (even though skin tight lycra is dead flattering!) so walking is my exercise of choice.

End to End Virtual Challenges popped up on my timeline asking if I want to get fit and lose weight in 2023....rude targeted suggestion but go on I'm listening!!

Lands end to John O'Groats on foot raising money for a fantastic local charity - for Bolton's young people - while getting fitter and tiring the gorgeous Kika out is a no brainer!! 

Some days we will walk 2 miles, other days we will walk 10 but by my 'totally insignificant and not at all special birthday in September I aim to be fitter and 'finner and have raised a chunk for Bolton's young people!! 

We need your support and whatever you feel you can give to this amazing cause is massively appreciated! I guarantee none of it will go towards the copious amounts of Radox I will no doubt get through!!
