My story

This year Becca and David are helping to raise money for charity by taking part in 3 events as part of a Decathlon of events spread over 2012. We will both be taking part in the Triathlon on 1st July as part of a team, with Becca swimming and David running and the cycling being completed by one of Becca's colleagues Mike. David will be running 5k on the 9th September and Becca will be swimming 1500m as part of a team on the 20th December.

The goal is to raise £100,000 for 3 very worthy local charities. Every penny counts and all donations made to this page are automatically linked to the 123Decathlon justgiving total fund. So please dig deep and donate.

For over 15 years, we have organised mainly cycle events in Europe. By 2012, we have raised some £3,015,634, mainly for cancer and medical charities. We pride ourselves that EVERY PENNY that has been raised has been paid to charity - our participants paying the full cost of event entry themselves.
