I'm dying my hair purple! · 20 March 2013

We conduct world class medical research projects. We diagnose and treat thousands of people with epilepsy every year. We do this and much more. We are the UK’s national medical epilepsy charity. With Epilepsy Society, you don’t have to deal with epilepsy alone.

Story

If you know me, then you probably know that I'm not afraid to experiment  with my hair, including different colours.  For March 26th - Purple Day, a day of wearing purple to promote awareness of epilepsy, I am going to dip dye the ends of my hair a lovely shade of lilac.

Please donate as much or as little as you can afford, every penny counts.

The Epilepsy Society needs donations to not only provide information services for people, and to raise awareness, but to also continue with their medical research into epilepsy.  This research enables better understanding, which leads to improving diagnosis and treatment, and making people with epilespy's lives seisure free.  Donations also go towards helping those with severe epilepsy, those who require specialist care and round the clock support.

You can find out more about epilespy and Purple Day on the Epilespy Society website, here: http://www.epilepsysociety.org.uk

This is a personal appeal from me, as my sister-in-law (to be) has epilepsy.
