As most of you know until a few months ago the only running I did was a quick sprint to the bar as happy hour was ending.  

Somehow all that has changed and on October 4th I'll be running in my first half marathon -  I'm still slightly confused as to how this has happened!?!?!  

I'm raising money for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport.  It's a really good place that did an incredible job with helping us to look after Dad in 2001.

I've still only got as far as 10 miles in training so please shame me into finishing the full 13.1 miles by sponsoring me for a really great cause.
