First of all I would like to say thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 20th April 2013 I will be taking part in a sponsored abseil down St Edmund and St Mary's Church in Ingatestone, Essex to raise money for Christian Aid. With the help of my colleagues at Chelmsford Diocese I would like to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.

£6.50 can buy one set of four tools for communities in rural Sierra Leone.

£15 can pay for boots and a raincoat for a trainer in South Sudan, who will teach farmers how to use an ox plough,which reduces the amount of time it takes them to plant their crops.

£24 can buy an energy-efficient stove for a family in Tajikistan, reducing both fuel consumption and unhealthy smoke fumes.

£40 can pay for training in preparing for emergencies (such as floods) for an entire village in Guatemala.
