Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last week, when there was some crisp Autumn sunshine, I thought it would be nice to run another organised 10K.  I found one nearby for CHASE, and signed up straightaway.  This morning, when i woke up, I thought that maybe the world was ending, the weather was SO bad.  But I'd signed up, so, you know, I kind of had to do it....

I squelched my way round, the picture above cannot possible portray how cold and wet that mud was!  I did it in 1hr 15, which is not my best time, but seeing as I nearly got blown away and nearly lost my shoes in the mud a few times, I don't think that's too bad.

So if you feel sorry enough for me, and have a Pound or Two to spare, please give some money for CHASE. Thanks!

About the charity

CHASE hospice care for children provides nursing, practical, and emotional support to families with children who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday, across South West London, Surrey and Sussex.

The CHASE service is committed to offering a personalised service to suit each family’s individual needs. Dedicated help is given starting immediately after diagnosis, through bereavement and beyond. This support is offered to families in their homes, their local communities and at our children’s hospice, Christopher’s. The CHASE service is provided 365 days of the year at no cost to the families themselves. CHASE needs to raise £4 million in every year to ensure our vital service continues. With minimal Government funding, we rely on donations to achieve this. Your help will enable us to continue to offer the full range of our invaluable services to families that need our help – letting them down is not an option!
