Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

Story

Raising money for Child Bereavement UK is difficult. They are there to pick up the pieces when the worst has happened. They cannot make things better, but without their work, the suffering of families who have already endured so much would be so much worse.

For me, running a marathon is going to be a huge challenge. I have never run more than 5k before, and that when I was lighter and younger. You can follow me on Twitter. I'd love to hear from you. I'd love to read some message of support, for the charity, and for my training efforts.

For those of you whom I don't know, or don't know well, I'm hugely grateful for whatever you can give. For those of my friends - I'm not growing a moustache; I'm not doing a fun run. This is MARATHON! This is ME! It will be HARD! So please give as much as you can or I'll come round and chop your legs off.

I aim to raise £2,500. Every penny goes to Child Bereavement UK.

Thank you.
