Well, I did it!!!! 2 hrs 26 mins and I'm really happy with my time. It was an amazing day, very hot but the miles did fly by and the atmosphere was fantastic. Running the last mile to the finish with the Red Arrows doing their thing over the sea was pretty amazing and I would do it all over again. Our bags are packed as we're heading off to Carlisle tomorrow and my last training run is done. I'm getting pretty excited about it and shall let you know how I get on next week. If you're watching on BBC, my face will probably be beetroot red so I'll be very easy to spot!

Seven months after the arrival of Seren I have stuck to my plan of training for the Great North Run and am looking forward to completing the race before returning the work the following week.
