The race has been run and completed in 4:56:26..........hours minutes and seconds!  A very respectable time for my first marathon.  A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated, it made the 26.3 miles more worthwhile.

I am using my ballot entry for the London Marathon to run for a charity called WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals), a VERY worthy cause.  As part of my training I will be running the Silverstone Half Marathon on the 14th March 2010.

 

WSPA have been promoting animal welfare for more than 25 years.  They work in many regions around the world to stop cruelty to animals and save endangered species from extinction.

WSPA are in partnership with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation working towards a self sustaining future and a safe haven for the Orangutans.
