Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

There are 60 runners in our team, and all raising money for Spinal research. Our aims are to raise a lot of money for a great charity, get fit and also raise Spinal Research's profile throughout the country.

This team are running for Spinal Research for a variety of personal reasons, but I'm running on behalf of my friend's father and other victims of spinal nerve damage.

My friend's Dad broke his neck in a car accident in 2002, and was paralysed from the neck down permanently. This has therefore brought Spinal Research very much into his family's life. His Father has since become involved in the work Spinal Research do. We all dream that one day paralysis can be cured. This fantastic charity is attempting to develop methods with which to stimulate healing of spinal injury or replace damaged tissue.

Spinal Research is a very small, yet world leading charity. Anything you can give makes such a difference, and is massively appreciated by the Charity and the whole team.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please please please give generously to this amazing charity!

Thank you soo much x
