Story
Finding the strength to get through each day is a challenge for many. Children who manage to do this, despite adversity, and sometimes while having to support someone else, is a true testament to their character and their stamina. Children in Need tries to help these children by providing them the support they need to lessen their load, lift the world off their shoulders.
As someone who experienced these sorts of troubles as a child, I'm a staunch supporter of everything that Children in Need do to help kids up and down the country. In previous years I have baked for Children in Need and done fundraising that way. This year, I want to prove something to myself; that as well as having the emotional strength to make it through each day, I also have the physical strength to undertake a walking challenge for Children in Need.
50 miles in a week is the goal, that's an average of seven miles each day. I currently do that one day a week and it wipes me out, so to do it seven days in a row (November 7-13) , leading up to the main fundraising night, is going to be a personal feat, but I know I can do it!
If you want to, then you can help me out in two ways:
1. Sponsor me and help children across the UK get access to the help and care they need to make their lives better.
2. Spread the word! The more people who want to help out, and the more money we raise, the better.
