<p>Thanks to all of you who have supported me so far! I smashed my £3k target and am still fundraising!! I had a busy time in November at my Christmas Fair which raised £672! We had a santa and a school choir and lots of stalls and refreshments, it was very festive! Also been busy with Coffee Mornings and Pamper Nites so doing well on the Fundraising front. <p>The Trek is getting closer - I have just started training. I have a fitness plan, am going walking and starting Power Yoga. All this should help me tackle the challenging trek of 60km over 5 days in the Indian Himalaya in May 2011! I will also be camping in subzero temperatures!</p>
<p>Why am I doing this? This is a great opportunity to raise money for a FANTASTIC cause - the Yorkshire Cancer Centre at St James Hospital Leeds. <br />The appeal will fund specialist equipment, research, therapeutic projects and home from home comforts for <br />cancer patients in wards, who come to St James Hospital Oncology Unit from all over Yorkshire.This is also an opportunity for me to put something back after the amazing care I received last year.</p>
