Streetwise Opera is an opera company that enables people who’ve experienced homelessness to find inspiration and empowerment while they rebuild their lives and identities. We support participants to develop as creative people and, as we amplify their voices, change how society views homelessness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In one of my nuttier moments (you may have noticed a few)! I'll be singing in a professional production of Carmen (and other bits too)! in the West End this month and in aid of SREETWISE.

Here are just a few words about this award-winning charity:  Prince William may have highlighted the plight of the homeless recently and had a real look at what it means to be homeless. Not only how desparate it must be to have nowhere to live, no food, nowhere to wash - things we may all take for granted. Streetwise offers to make a difference - not just a blanket and a bowl of soup, but through various communication skills or self-esteem workshops and through work placements aims to help homeless people regain the basic skills that will help them back onto their feet and feel to feel they are able to belong in our society instead of marginalised.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

THANK YOU !!!!
