Story
<p>On 6th Feb 2011 I will be taking part in the Watford Half Marathon. This is a massive personal challenge for me and have been told it is one of the hardest I could have chosen as my first ever half marathon! I'm hoping to raise a little bit of money for Orchyd.</p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma; font-size: small;">ORCHYD is a charity based in Ruislip which provides 20 children with physical disabilities with a 10 day holiday during the summer holidays. The children are aged between 8 and 12 and<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>have a range of disabilities and individual needs. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma; font-size: small;">Each day of the holiday the children go to different places, including Legoland, Paradise wildlife park and a weekend camping. We try to make the holiday as fun and enjoyable for every child as possible. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma;">Its is run purely by dedicated volunteers who kidnly give up their summer holidays to help ensure the children get a high level of care around the clock, from befriending them on the trips, general care and help during the day and night, nursing, cooking, security and organising the holiday. Orchyd not only gives the children an exciting and fun filled holiday bit also provides rest bite for the families.</span></span></p>
