On Sunday 6th December myself and many others will be doing a 1 Mile "santa fun run" in aid of the Laura Crane Trust and Kirkwood Hospice.
We will be running around a track dressed in santa suits!
Although a Mile may not seem very far, the fact that this will be done on a cold December (Sunday!) morning whilst dressed as santa makes it a very worth cause.
I should also mention that I am not the fittest of people and that this will not be easy for someone who does very little, if any exercise!!
The Laura Crane Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to funding research specifically into cancers affecting 13-24 year-olds.
Kirkwood Hospice provides specialist care for those people in Kirklees facing life-threatening illness.
This is a very worthy cause and both charities are based in Huddersfield.
