On Friday 1st May, I will be walking 10 miles, along the canal from Bath to Bradford on Avon to raise money for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. This is an illness very close to my heart, as my mum suffers from it. This illness, although now on its way to being recognised by the medical community, still faces a lot of discrimination and a serious lack of understanding. I have seen first hand how this illness has affected my mum and I want to raise funds to help towards research. I know that she would love to do this walk, but can't,  so I am doing it on her behalf.
