Story
Red Robins are an enthusiastic group of new Atkins graduates who have been challenged to raise as much money as possible for the international disaster relief charity RedR UK. Founded by engineer Peter Guthrie in 1980, RedR UK provides training and technical support to NGOs, aid workers and communities responding to natural and man-made disasters all over the world. As a RedR Patron, Atkins has supported RedR UK’s work for a number of years, which has included responding to the 2004 ‘Boxing Day’ Tsunami, the recent Ebola outbreak and the ongoing Syrian crisis.
Having learnt more about RedR UK since joining Atkins and being engineers ourselves, we have become passionate about helping the charity continue its mission. In order to reach our fundraising target, we will be organising a variety of events over the coming months and hope to engage both the Atkins community and you, the general public, along the way so that we can all make a lasting contribution to such a great cause.
Thank you for all your generous support.
