Thanks for taking the time to visit Reece Jeffrey -JustGiving page. Reece was suddenly and tragically  taken away from us on Saturday 12th March 2011 whilst playing football for Chellaston his beloved team.It was 12 days before his 16th birthday. His passing has left his many friends and of course his family devastated. Since then two of his best friends Piers and Michael have both arranged charity football matches to raise funds for the charity C-r-y. There is also a sponsored cycle ride from John o groats to Lands end by saddle - row.

We hope that his legacy will be that all teenagers from the age of 14 who play  any sport  have to have a compulsory heart screening to ensure that this tragedy can  help be prevented from happening to anyone again.The screening day will take place in Derby on tuesday 26th July at Landau - Forte College.
