Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

I am taking part in a unique challenge - a non-stop, day-and-night relay of marathons around the UK to raise funds and the visibility of Bran Tumour UK.

The event starts and ends in London. I will be taking part in the Cromer to Norwich leg on Sunday 20th May with my running partner, Lisa. We will be running a half-marathon each, and as things stand, we are the only people running this stretch, so we'd better complete it, and on time!

It's not a race against other competitors, but the fact that each leg is scheduled to complete within 4 hours means that I definitely need to put in the effort to train and make my time!

Not only will there be the physical challenge to runners of all abilities but the event will also raise funds and awareness for brain tumour research. It is surprising how many of us have been touched by this disease either directly or through someone we know.

So please dig deep and donate now for this worthy cause.

Thanks,

Jim
