EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Renault Sport UK is once again holding its charity duathlon event at Rockingham race circuit on Friday, 18th September 2009 (5.45pm - after testing). We are raising money for two charities, Barnardo's and brain injury charity Headway in support of Henry Surtees, the former Formula Renault UK driver who tragically lost his life recently.

The event is open to all connected to the Touring Car paddock and involves cycling, running and cycling (three laps) around the 1.47-mile oval circuit. You can enter as an individual or as part of a three-person team but each member of the team must complete all three laps!

The event is for all ages and abilities and promises to be a lot of fun! However, if you don't think you've got the legs for it, we'd be very grateful if you would make a donation and help support our two charities.

The entry fee is £10 per person (£30 per team).

Look forward to seeing you on the start grid and don't forget to bring your bike!
