I have started to bike for personal health reasons but have found that I could do that and help children in need while doing the same thing that is helping me become healthier so, this year, I am making an extra effort to not only participate in some of the charity bike rallies in my area like Collin Classic (picture above) helping the children of our County but also will join Blazing Saddles 2019!
The Blazing Saddles team 5th event starting in Bruges, Belgium on 11th July 2019 ending in Amsterdam on Saturday 13th July.
We do this in memory of our colleague Payam's late wife, Nuria and all of the loved ones we have all lost to cancer.
This event is far more than what I have done so far so I will be training these coming months like never before to be able to finish with some pride for the effort done but mainly for pushing myself to get up and do something about an important cause instead of just sitting on the sidelines with my arms crossed and be able to say:
I have not only helped myself be better but I have given my grain of salt to help children in need so please help me do as much good as possible!
