HHA has been working in the developing world since 2006. Originally in Haiti, but now in Uganda and South Sudan. We focus on the most vulnerable people tackling poverty through holistic disability care, and by improving community support and facility-based care for mothers and babies.

Story

Hello everyone

As most of you know, mummy and daddy took Abi and I to Uganda this summer to help South Sudanese children with disabilities in refugee camps.  Then we all went to Haiti to help the hospital which mummy and daddy helped start with Hope Health Action.

After all we've seen, this September we're going to try and raise as much money as we can to help our South Sudanese and Haitian friends, particularly helping children with disabilities and babies in the neonatal unit.  To raise money, I'm doing my first 1km race on 3rd September with Parallel London (https://www.parallellondon.com)!  Then on 16th Sept daddy is joining HHA's 3 Peak Challenge to celebrate 10 years of the charity, as they try and climb Scotland, England & Wales' biggest mountains in 24 hours.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported HHA before, especially when we were away these last few months, but...if you were able to help us reach our £1,000 target we'd be so happy!  Thank you for helping us.

Lots of love

Joseph (on behalf of me and daddy)
