My Story….

In 2006 I was told I had Cushing’s syndrome, a one in a million condition that course your body to produce to much cortisone, this leaves you with high blood pressure, back pains, central obesity, moon face and the list goes on.

After three failed brain operations to remove my pituitary gland and one failed attempt to remove my adrenal glands, I wound up on life support for 4 and a half day fighting for my life, this was down to my brain sack bursting and my brain liquid ran down into my lunges giving me Pneumonia, I never go to say good bye to my kids, but lucky I came back, but on the day I woke up I had to have a brain scan and it was found I had a black spot on my brain, this turned out to be meningitis, round two and once again another fight for my life… three week later I was able to go home and recover

On my last day, just as I was leaving the hospital I was told that I still had Cushing’s!

Three months later I was taking back into hospital to have a full left adrenal-leucotomy, for this they had to open my left side of my stomach up, remove a rib and cut of the top of my kidneys…

When I woke up I found I was back in the ICU, first thing I knew was that I was paralysed down my right hand side, this was due to a mistake by the doctor who knocked my out, he had give me to my epidural, the next was a tube coming out of my chest, during the operation, the surgeon had punched my lunge, anther two week fighting to get better..

After five years of ops, blood tests, MRIs, Cat scans and more I was finally sorted… but this soon changed when a burin condition called sorcoidozes, a skin condition that grown little lumps under the skin, and if these get to my brain or chest, then its back to ICU and more fighting.

So know I am left with brittle bones, arthritis in my back and left side, I have no adrenals, so I get no adrenal rush, which means I cont get that rush other get, I also live on 30+ tablets a day, these help me to produce energy, control pain and stop my bones from getting any worse…

So at the end of the day, to do and other these challenges is a massive effect for me, on the zip-wire I hurt my shoulder, for the sky dive I have had to get a doctor to sign me off and I have to have medication standing by for the landing, and the GNR, well that will mean I drink steroid’s and pain killers dissolved in water all the way round and how knows what I will be like at the end..

So that is way I need this to mean something and that is way I am looking for companies like yours, who I have worked with to help me reach and hopefully smash my £1000 target.
