Residence Inn Edinburgh is raising money for The King's Trust
Story
Hello!
We are a team of keen sport enthusiasts. For our day jobs we
work at the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel here in Edinburgh.
On Monday 11th July we will be embarking on an extraordinary challenge. We have agreed to cycle all the way from London to Rio and walk back - all in the same day!
This challenge will be shared by all the Marriott UK hotels and
offices, and each property will cycle 164km and walk
that same distance too. All in all we will cover the distance of 18'000
km in one day. 8 of our associates will be walking 21km each, from the hotel to the iconic Forth Road Bridge, whilst associates on property will be tackling 164km on 2 spinning bikes set up in our lobby kindly provided by our local PureGym for the day.
What’s more, as a hotel we have pledged to raise £500 for the Prince’s Trust so please give generously.
