I am raising money for the National Blind Children's Society. I have set myself the personal challenges of trekking to Machu Picchu in Peru next April and also the challenge of raising £3750. I'm really passionate about putting positive energy into helping others and I thought this would be a great way to bring this to life. National Blind Children's Society is a charity I beleive does great work but doesn't get that much exposure so I wanted to help.

"The National Blind Children's Society's objective is to enable children and young people with visual impairment to achieve their educational and recreational goals. Our vision is a world where children with a visual impairment have an equal opportunity to the provision of education, which is adequately supported with sources of information provided in a suitable format for their needs and where there are no barriers to sports and recreational activities. We offer help and support to from the moment a child is dignosed, usually at birth, through each key stage of their education to the age of twenty-five."
