Rhianwen's racing 'round Oxford

Oxford Half Marathon · 14 October 2012 ·
In just over 5 weeks (eek!) on 14th October I will be running the Oxford Half Marathon, partly to prove to myself that I can actually do it but also, with whatever donation you can spare, to make a contribution to support the work of Mind.
Mental health problems are more common than people realise and can be very serious but with the right support and understanding, such as that offered and campaigned for by Mind, it doesn't have to be. This might help explain it better than I can... http://www.mind.org.uk/get_involved/fundrasing_events/why_support_mind
Running is something that helps keep me 'sane' and hopefully by doing this all those many miles I clock up will help others too...
The official bit - "Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity."
So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page :)
