We came...we saw....we fell over...and now we are back again!
Having done our "wrong way up" episode last year we are back with a vengeance. We wasted no time at all planning our efforts for 2010 - and are back with an shiny new rhino charge car. OK its not shiny or new, but it is different.
'Judiff' the original car was too heavy (top heavy) and had a few mechanical flaws too - so we bought a "RustRover" and another car body and from three not so good vehicles have come up with one, world beating monster. Even more world beating than our last world beating monster. Our wonder-driver/mechanic Mike produced something very special.
Hopefully it should stay even more upright this year. It also has seats for the passengers (revolutionary!), brakes and steering. Although we have proved that none of these are really essential to do a charge, they do help.
With your help we managed to raise a stunning 1,400,000 shillings last year and we need to raise a minimum of 1 million (13,000 dollars) this time around to meet our pledge. As per usual ALL the money raised goes to the charity and NONE to our beer fund or the costs of us participating. For more info for where the money goes please see: http://www.rhinoark.org/
