Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 22nd April 2012 I am running the London Marathon and then on Wednesday 16th May 2012 I am running the Arbroath to St Andrews leg of the Marathon Relay of Great Britain challenge.

Marathon Relay GB starts on 4th May 2012 at Buckingham Palace and will see hundreds of runners covering 2600 mies around Great Britain in a relay of marathon length (26.2 mile) legs. This event is taking place to raise funds for and awareness of the charity Brain Tumour UK and in the process break a world record!

The leg I have volunteered to run is special to me as it ends in St Andrews - my home for 5 years (so I know exactly which pub I'll be going for a pint in when I complete the marathon!) - and will be made even more exciting as if all goes well this should be the leg that breaks the world record and it looks like I will be running with former Olympian and GB athlete Liz McColgan!

There are still places available in this challenge and so if you're tempted to run some or all of a leg please check out www.relaygb.org!

Thanks for visiting.
