Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·
I am "running" the 2016 London Marathon for the NSPCC please give generously.
The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is a fantastic charity. The NSPCC is fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every £5 raised will enable the NSPCC to reach another child through their work in primary schools and help to keep them safe from abuse and neglect.
As many of you know, I am no runner, the last race I competed in was probably the egg and spoon race at my primary school. However, when the opportunity to raise money for this truly incredible charity presented itself, I jumped at the chance to put on some running shoes. Please dig deep and give as much as you can afford, you get a chance to help the NSPCC while causing me some pain and suffering.
