Story

Helen and I are Sam's Aunt and Uncle. Both experienced cyclists we bought Sam his first proper bike - which he soon outgrew!

In memory of Sam and to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Hospital in their fight to beat malignant melanoma I have chosen to undertake an epic bike event that will truly challenge me. The Ride Across Britain (RAB– they happen to be my initials!) - will take me almost 1000 miles in 9 consecutive days (no resting!) on the classic route from Lands End to John o’Groats. The daily average is 106 miles with 22,000 metres of climbing.

Please will you sponsor me in support of the Sam Keen Foundation and help me raise my personal target of £10 per mile - £10,000 in total.

Sam always put others before himself - please help others with this cruel disease with your sponsorship.
