The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Andrea Fiandaca passed away on February 16th 2011 after an extraordinarily courageous seven year battle against a brain tumour. He was only 37 years old.

In April 2013 Richard Berthon will join Grame Urwin and Nick Blunden to run the Big Sur Marathon.

I'm running in memory of two people to raise money for two charities: My father Graham Berthon (who died of cancer on 20 April 2012 in the care of the wonderful St Maraget's Hospice) and Andrea Findaca (to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, the UK's leading charity dedicated to brain tumour research, patient information and support).

My friends Graeme Urwin and Nick Blunden will take on The Boston 2 Big Sur Marathon challenge which involves 2 marathons on 2 coasts in 13 days and as even the promotional material for it states that "only the fittest (or craziest) ever attempt back-to-back marathons...much less 3,000 miles apart" we would greatly appreciate any donation you can give to combat this disease.
