I was lucky enough to be chosen to represent my company as part of our 350 year celebrations by cycling from London to Blois in France where we will meet up at the Saint Gobain archives with other groups of cyclists from across Europe. 

This involves riding over 400 miles in 4 days but it will be worth the effort as we aim to raise  £75000 for charity between the riders from the UK.

I am very happy that our main charity partner is Macmillan cancer because of the support that they gave my family during my dad's final days, it is a fact that more of us will experience suffering cancer but thanks to research the chances of surviving are improving, unfortunately not everybody pulls through, this is when the support of organisations like Macmillan is vital.

There is no doubt that this ride will test me to the limit and I am under no illusions of how difficult it will be or how much training I will have to put in so please make it worth  all the effort and help me reach my fundraising target by donating.
