Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.   As many of you will know I enjoy running.  I have long held an ambition to run the Great North Run, the worlds biggest Half Marathon.

I have decided to run for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.  My Uncle Colin was diagnosed with this disease last year.  There is no known cure.  In the first few months after diagnosis he went from a fit and strong man to a shadow of his former self.  He died on 27th August.

All we can hope is that the research your donations will help to fund finds a cure so that more families do not have to go through the same heartache.

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
