Update 15 June 2011: Hi Guys - I made it!! Due to the unexpectly late snow in April it was a bit hairy/interesting (!) in places, and one of the passes was blocked with snow, but the views from the top were stunning. I have updated the photos. Thank you for all your contributions so far.
From 28 May to 11 June I am trekking in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco - attempting to do the four 4000m peaks of Toubkal Massif!!
Described as "demanding" the itinary includes "visiting Berber villages (the easy bit!), traversing deep gorges, and crossing unknown passes"(the not-so-easy bit!) and involves conquering four summits, ranging in height from 4001m to 4167m and camping out at night when the temperature will be below freezing!
I am seeking to raise money for the charity Skin Cancer Research Fund so if you would like to make a donation I would be most greatful.
Thanking you in anticipation
