Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

I MADE IT!!! YOU'LL BE PLEASED TO KNOW THAT I COMPLETED THE LONDON MARATHON IN A TIME OF 4 HOURS 7 MINUTES. THE LAST FEW MILES WERE TOUGH BUT THE CROWDS WERE AMAZING AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS INCREDIBLE.

GREAT TO SEE SO MANY OF YOU ON THE DAY AND THANKS TO EVERYONE AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT.

RICH X

As you know, on Sunday 25th April I'll be taking my place on the starting line of the London Marathon to raise money for a superb charity.

In 2005 an accident left a close family friend paraysed. Spinal Research is a UK based charity working to develop therapies to help people paralysed as a result of breaking their neck or back. Their work is making some ground breaking progress but needs the support of good people like us to help it continue.

I knows times is 'ard, but any support would be much appreciated and it would be great to see you on race day. Thanks for your time, generosity and support, especially through the injuries!

Rich/Trebs/Gillers!
