Story

Hi everyone,

I'm running in this year's London Marathon to raise money for Putney Samaritans. This will be my first marathon and I've been training hard - a little too hard according to the pain in my soleus muscle (I had to google for that, but it does really hurt!). As many of you know Samaritans is a really worth while cause, details below, and I'm so glad to be running for a charity I truly believe in.

So please help me towards my goal!

Many thanks
Richard

Putney Samaritans respond to over 20,000 calls a year. They also offer support through a national e-mail and text system, face-to-face contacts, carry out outreach work in local schools and support a network of listeners in Wandsworth Prison. Samaritans exist to provide emotional support for those in despair or facing a crisis in their lives, including those experiencing feelings which may lead to suicide.
