Hello, I'm fundraising for Diabetes UK in memory of Owen Dervey.

Owen passed away 3 years ago, and this is the second time i've raised money for this charity, in Owens name.

I met Owen while at David Lister, and I remember him been diagnosed with diabetes, but when your young you don't really think much of it - we  didn't and were more interested in playing video games (Star Trek Armada mainly!) and having a laugh.

After school we remained good friends, and we had a good gang (Me, Owen, Lockey & Dean). Our weekends were mostly spent going to the cinema, or the pub (mainly lockeys idea!).

However, over the following years his condition gradually deteriorated, and he sadly passed away on 12th April 2012.

Im fundraising in his name to raise awareness and keep his memory alive.
