Land's End to John O'Groats · 4 September 2010

Imagine being told your toddler you thought was healthy, but perhaps slow to progress, in fact had a rare and devastating disability that would leave them needing lifelong 24/7 care. Rett syndrome changes lives irrevocably. With your support Rett UK is there from the beginning. #ToKnowHerIsToLoveHer

Paul Gibson and Richard Hoyle are taking part in a bike ride from Lands End to John O'Groats - 1000 miles, in 2 weeks!!

During this journey, we are raising money for the Rett Syndrome Association

To give you a bit of background, Rett syndrome is a complex neurological disorder, which mainly affects girls. It is present from birth, but is not always obvious, and it becomes more evident during the second year.

People with Rett syndrome are profoundly and multiply disabled, with high support needs throughout their life.
