Why I am I doing this? 10 years ago I had kidney cancer, and that was quite a shock after losing a brother to cancer. Macmillan were brilliant with everyone through a difficult time, and so was the St Giles Hospice.

I was more lucky, however, finding the cancer led to finding a torn heart valve and in a way, the process saved my life. I feel that I need to give something back to the system and you can help me do that whilst helping others.
