Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2026 it will cost £5,662,680 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £15,514 per day.

Story

Pain, Sweat, Fatigue and Jelly Babies..

On 22nd June 2013 three of my old classmates and I will be starting the national 3 Peaks Challenge, Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon all in 24 hours and I have chosen to try and raise funds for our local cancer patient hospice.

Organised by Steve Jones, along with David Cross and Brian Rothera, we're all 'Bromfield Boys' from the Maelor School, Penley and have never done anything like this before, so we've hired a driver and guide to give us the best chance.

Donating through JustGiving is fast and secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money direct to my chosen charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for Nightingale House Hospice.

To find out more about the great work the team at the hospice do take a look at this short fundraising video I made a few years ago. Thanks for taking an interest in our challenge, please donate now.
