Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year, myself and my Uncle were diagnosed with cancer, I had testicular and he had cancer that needed major surgery and losing some internal 'components'. We were operated on the same day, roughly the same time, his being many hours longer surgery than mine meant he was by far under the most severest of 'conditions'. (We both had multiple post op infections also.)
Anyway, I got lucky and weeks after my op and six weeks after being told 'I had cancer' I got a call to say that I was the 0.01% that had a tumor on the testicle that wasn't malignant.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, that male cancer took over my families lives for a while and that has inspired me to help raise much needed awareness and funds male cancer charities.
Thanks for reading,
Richard.
