Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
Following a life-transforming winter mountaineering fall in 2001 I had become an amputee, together with loosing most of my fingers to frost-bite. I've 2 prostethic legs - one for walking, the other for cycling - and I haven't looked back since (if only to remind myself of how far I've com!) I'm now a member of Great Britain's disabled target shooting team, looking to make selection for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
I've always been an active man, and joined Kiera in cycling Land's End to Jon O'Groats in 2005 to raise funds for another amputee-focused charity. I've now been approached to do the Paris Night Rider, which is a 100k cycle ride through the night with a group of like-minded amputees. So we're aiming ti help raise as much money as we can for LimbPower, who change the lives of children and adult amputees through opportunities to participate in sports and the arts.
