Story

The West Highland Way challenge is a self imposed idea to continue raising funds for the Myton Hospice at Home team operating in Rugby and Warwickshire. This will be a 4 day challenge to walk the West Highland way from Loch Lomond to Fort William( aprox 80 milies) starting November 1st - 2011.

Providing suport will be Graham Williams ( Coventry Marathon Man ) the hare to follow and keep up with. The two of us both Cov kids , ex Wickman and proud Coventrians doing what we can for Myton Hospice.

Myton need £ 9 million per annum to provide the care that they offer, aproximately £ 7.5 million of that amount is provided by charity work and donations from caring Warwickshire citizens.

Myton provide day care and suport to those suffering terminal illness at the end of their lives, they bring hapiness and care particularly for the old and loneley at a time of despair . The day care centres give compassion, and companionship to the terminally ill whilst the day care nurses provide suport to the ill and carers at home.

The West Highland Way Challege is a small contribution to the massive effort the fund raisers make and when added can make a difference.

Please give generously for such a cause.
