At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Great North Run in September in memory of Tom Hitt who sadly passed away 10 years ago (age 16) on the 16th June, having lost his fight with Leukemia.    I am running with Tom's father Dave and his sister Jessica, her boyfriend Pete and another friend Chris. Dave, Chris and I ran the same race 10 years ago, soon after we had lost Tom, so we are returning to Newcastle 10 years on to run it once more, remembering Tom and raising money for CLIC Sargent.

We are hoping to raise a good amount of money between us all and have a fundraising event planned as well as trying to get as much sponsorship on Just Giving as we can.  We would be very grateful of course for any support you feel you might be able to give that can help CLIC Sargent  in anyway possible, in supporting families who are going through what Tom's family did back then.

Thank you for all the support everyone has given previously for the same cause and any that you might be able to contribute again now.

Kindest regards

Rich.
