My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
You'll be pleased to hear I completed the Great North Run on Sunday, 16th September, in a not-too-shabby time of 2.38.20. It's basically what I was aiming for so I'm delighted.
I'm doubly glad that I've also smashed my fundraising target, and I'm grateful to all of you who donated so kindly.
I ended the day in South Tyneside General Hospital after I'd over-exerted myself and failed to take enough water on during the run. Proof, if there needs to be any, that I gave it my all for you lot and for Centrepoint.
If you still feel inclined, you can still donate today - this page will remain open until December 15th, the more the merrier.

Completed the GNR in 2.38.20. Get in!
Delighted to say that I've smashed my £300 target and have raised somewhere around £440 for Centrepoint UK - Thanks to everyone for donating, it's really appreciated.
Broken the £300 barrier last week, over the moon. But there's a fortnight to go so still plenty of time to donate if you haven't done so.
Fundraising is going well, but still need a decent wedge to get me over the £300 line. Thanks to all who have donated so far.
Thanks to everyone at work who have pledged a total of £100 - that's a third of my total raised in an afternoon. Thanks!
