Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

In 2011, I was part of a small group of friends who took on all 26 miles and 385 yards of the London Marathon with a difference. We were the first ever group to complete this feat as a marching band, playing instruments from start to finish.

That year we raised over £30,000 for the charity SENSE.

In 2014 we are aiming to do this again but this time beat our time of 7 hours and 55mins and raise over £60,000.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated be it £1 or £5 but all will make a massive difference to people all over the UK.
