Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am the proud coach of Tetbury Town Under 10's football team, and ask for your invaluable support towards one player in the squad.

The squad has identical twins, Jack and Lewis who are always willing to learn new skills and are football mad. Lewis joins in whenever possible with the aid of a frame but this is not always possible. He has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy which means he struggles with stiffness in his legs. He also aches alot and gets very tired when he walks. He has a Kaye walker and some tripod sticks but for longer days relies on his wheelchair.

There is now an operation in the UK as well as the U.S that may help Lewis be able to move better and walk independently. It is not currently funded on the NHS in the UK and so needs to raise £35,000 to pay for the operation and the intensive therapy involved afterwards.

Because of this amazing opportunity for Lewis, I am running two marathons this year, the Royal Shakespeare Marathon in April and Snowdonia Marathon in October.

Your donation towards Lewis and his operation is important and your support to this cause is priceless. Having known Lewis for a while I know for him to be able to play football unaided with his brother and the football team would mean the world. Thank you once again.
