Royal Parks Half Marathon 2009 · 11 October 2009 ·

We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

Hello!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my new JustGiving page.

Sunday 11th October 2009, I ran my very first half marathon here in London!  For those of you that don't know that is THIRTEEN (AND A BIT) MILES! I was pleased that I was able to beat my predicted time to finish in just under two hours...

I ran on behalf of the charity Brains Trust - a UK based brain cancer charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Richard.
