On 29th May 2010, we will be endeavouring to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats within 8 days, a total of 1067 miles. We have decided to undertake this challenge to raise money for Wakefield Hospice.

Wakefield Hospice is committed to providing the highest level of symptom management and care for people who have advanced active, progressive and life threatening illness. The hospice endorses a holistic approach in promoting quality of life for patients as well as in the continuing support that is offered to families and carers throughout the period of illness and into bereavement. Hospice care is free of charge to patients who have been assessed as in need of specialist palliative care.
